Lausanne and Geneva are other favourite Swiss Alpine meadows. French Alpine Meadows

Alps in French are spread from north to south. The topography and natural beauty changes as you head from Germanic north to Mediterranean south. At the northern point, Rhone-Alps is a good place to have a comprehensive experience of French alpine meadows.

If you are in south however, head to Provence-Alps-Cote d’Azur. This town is located at the farthest point of French Alps, before it makes its way to Italy. A short distance away is Mediterranean. So when you have your fill of the alpine meadows, you can always head out to the sea.
