The Baiyoke Sky Hotel is located in the Pratunam district of Bangkok and is easily the tallest building in the city. The building is 88 storied and is regarded as the most scenic hotel in Bangkok. The Superior Suites are the largest rooms at 82sqm and they offer a good view of the city and the view of Bangkok by night from the hotel room is simply awesome.
The Sky Zone is from 46th floor to 68th floor and the rooms on these floors are aptly termed as the Sky Zone. The sunset from these rooms are too good to be written in words the night sky with all the twinkling stars seems so near. The hotel has a number of facilities to meet the growing demands of the discerning travelers. The most notable among the facilities are the Revolving View Point (84th floor), Observation Deck (77th floor), Car Parking, Tour Service, Fitness Center, Swimming Pool and Currency Exchange. There is free shuttle service from the hotel to Ratchaprarop Concourse and to Suvarnabhumi Airport. The Health & Fitness Club is located on the 20th floor and offers traditional therapies. The Observation Deck and the Revolving View Point is open till 10:30 at night. The guests can get a splendid view of Bangkok and the Gulf of Thailand. There are maps, multimedia kiosks and coin operated telescopes that will help you identify the different places. The Revolving View Point is located on the highest floor of the building and it is an open-air deck that revolves for full 360 degrees.
The Baiyoke Sky Hotel boasts of some really good dining places and the foremost among them is the Sky Coffee Shop. This is located on the 18th floor and serves international and Thai cuisine. You can even get a window seat for a superb view from the restaurant itself. The place is open for 24 hours and their most popular dish is the Prawn Spicy soup or Tom Yum Goong. Another popular dish is the German Pork leg that is served in the coffee shop. This dish is really worth tasting.

The Bangkok Sky restaurant is spread over the 76th and 78th floors of the hotel. It serves Internal Buffet and Seafood. You can get all kids of seafood here like river prawns, rock lobsters and scallops. The other dishes that are worthy trying would be Tempura seafood, steamed prawns in salt, fried crab in curry paste and seafood soup. Soft drinks are unlimited during both lunch and dinner. The lunch will cost THB 600 per person and the Buffet dinner will cost THB 800 per person.
The Stella Palace Chinese Restaurant is located on the 79th floor. The Chinese buffet lunch is only available on Saturday and Sunday but you can choose from the a la carte menu during the week. There are private rooms and a separate space for a get-together or a karaoke party.
The Roof Top Bar & Music is on 83rd floor and a live band performs daily with the popular songs. The place is open till 1am in the morning. The Grilled & Seafood Buffet Restaurant – Charcoal Grill is located on the 82nd floor. The buffet has a good selection of imported meat and unlimited fresh seafood. I suggest that you opt for a dinner here and enjoy Bangkok by night through the 5m long glass panels. The restaurant is open daily for dinner from 5:30pm to midnight. The food here is heavenly and one should not miss the Australian beef and lamb which is cooked with the best of Mexican herbs and spices.
The Shopping Craze package is now open to guests who will stay for a minimum of 3 nights in Deluxe, Sky Zone. The rate per night will be THB 2600 only. The package would include complimentary welcome drink, complimentary seasonal fruits upon arrival, complimentary newspaper, free shuttle to Siam Square, MBK and Siam Paragon. The guests do have the option of checking out late till 6pm.
