The thrilling activities are suitable for all, the young, the adult and the seniors. The ships sail from the home port of Disney World in Port Canaveral to Disney’s Private Island, the Castaway Cay. On the way the ship calls on Nassau for giving the passengers an experience of the old world colonial days. Those who want to have an experience of the maritime charm of the eastern coast of North America should not miss this cruise on offer from Disney Cruise Lines. As the ships set sail from New York and pass the coast of New England to Canada, one will get a glimpse of the quaint fishing villages, port cities and the costal life. There are 2 cruises on offer, a weekend gateway cruise starting from New York that sails along the coast and offers some great on-board entertainment; and another 5-day cruise which calls on Halifax, Nova Scotia and Saint John, New Brunswick. At Halifax, the passengers get to visit the University town and walk along the peaceful trails. Saint John offers an insight into the Victorian past of the region.

This is the first time that Disney Cruises is sailing to the beautiful islands of Hawaii. It is one of the most cherished vacation locations in the world. There is no doubt that the combination of Hawaii and Disney Cruises will be a memorable event. The cruise will cover the four islands of Big Island, Maui, Oahu and Kauai. Oahu is also home to the new addition to the Disney family, Aulani, the Disney resort and spa. So the ports of call will be Hilo, Nawiliwili, Honolulu and Kahului. One will also have the opportunity to visit historic Pearl Harbor. Activities will include all possible adventure sports from snorkeling and swimming to parasailing and hiking. The cruise will be a 15 night extravaganza with the journey starting from Los Angeles to Hawaii and back with stop at Ensenada, Mexico.

Disney cruise lines also operate cruises to Mexican Riviera touching ports at Cabo San Lucas, Manzanillo, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Ensenada. One can enjoy the pristine beaches and secluded coves all along the coast, the colorful cities and of course the Mexican vivacity. Cruises to Europe are available on 7, 10 or 11 night Mediterranean cruise packages. The places touched include Gibraltar, Barcelona, Rome, the French Riviera, Cannes, Monte Carlo and Monaco, Naples and Palermo. One can even simply enjoy a Transatlantic crossing aboard the Disney Maigc on the eastward or westward voyage.

True to the Disney name, every Disney ship offers plenty of on-board activities and entertainment. So there are musicals, 3D movies and live performances to enliven the time at sea. There are plenty of youth activities and character experiences where the children get to spend time with the Disney characters. There are lots of adult and family activities too.  Each of the ships have more than one bar,  lounge, spa and café. Dining is one of the specialties on-board. All the ships have the main dining area and a number of casual dining locations, quick service dining and also adult exclusive dining.
