Puerto Escondido: This is one of the best coastal towns of Mexico. Not only as the fishing and market town but this small town is known for the famous Mexico pipeline; the great sea breaker. There are various beaches of different types and kinds. The sea, sun and surf have made this town an amazing place for the visitors.

To have short but exciting trip one can easily go to this beautiful coastal town. With enough good restaurants, exciting nightlife and different sports for adventurous people this coastal town is one of the most craved place.

Attractions: There are several fascinating and stunning beaches here. Bahia Principal is the major beach of this coastal town. This is a long beach and the tourists can easily walk along the sunny warm whitish sand. At the western side of the beach are some restaurants.

There you can taste fresh sea food and refreshing drinks. At the centre called Playa Principal there is a fishing fleet. The eastern part of the beach is called Playa Marinero. Pelicans flying over the bluish water are mesmerizing scene for the visitors here.

You can have a nice dip in the warm water and can also try swimming and fishing. Just 1 km away from the Bahia Principal is another beautiful bay called Bahia Puerto Angelito.

This bay has sheltered two small beaches. The western beach is called Playa Angelito. This beach is quite famous for the Mexican families and they crowd over here on the holidays and weekends.

The eastern beach is Playa Manzanillo. This beach also gets overcrowded on the weekends. Both the beaches are really fascinating and extraordinary. Playa Carizalillo is loved by the adventurous people. This stunning beach is nestled in a rocky cove and to reach there one has to climb at least 170 steps.

You can enjoy refreshing sun bathe and also bathing in the warm surf. Adventurous people used to try swimming, snorkelling, surfing, boating, fishing and even body-boarding. With all these water sports this beach is really stunning.

Playa Zicatella is considered to be Mexico’s one of the most beautiful beaches. This long beach with white warm sand and rustling water is captivating. Here is the Mexico Pipeline and surfers from different places come here to test their skills.

You can also visit the coastal lagoons of Manialtepec and Chacahua which have several avian species. If you are lucky enough you can also see dolphins, turtles and whales.
