Angkor Wat Archaeological Park
Angkor Wat, which means “city temple” when translated, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is without doubt the most popular tourist attraction in Cambodia. Angkor Wat is located in Angkor near Siem Reap and is the largest religious building in the world.

It is believed that the Angkor region was once a very important city in Cambodia and one of the largest cities in ancient times. Built in the classical Khmer style, the temple complex features bas-reliefs, devatas, towers that form a quincunx, gopuras, etc. The bas-reliefs depict scenes that are drawn from Hindu mythology and Indian literature.
Sihanoukville is located in Southern Cambodia. This province is a tourist hot spot in Cambodia and is worth visiting because of its many beaches and resorts.
Some of the beaches include Independence Beach, Otres Beach, Victory Beach, Serendipity Beach, Occheuteal Beach, etc. Tourists can also visit the islands in Sihanoukville. Some of the islands include Koh Russei, Koh Rong, Koh Rong Samlon, etc. Koh Russei has bungalows where visitors can stay overnight.
Kampot is a scenic and quiet riverside town located in Southeast Cambodia where tourists can relax and avail of boating and rafting opportunities.

Beautiful waterfalls are some of the many attractions of this town. Visitors can also visit Bokor National Park (which features an old French resort in ruins) and Bokor Mountain.
Kep is a province located in the Southwest region of Cambodia. Some of the attractions of the Kep province include resorts, a national park, etc.

There are also beaches of Koh Tonsay Island, which are very popular with tourists.
Siem Reap is a province in northwestern Cambodia. The Angkor Archaeological Park is located nearby.
Other attractions include the Angkor National Museum, which houses around 1000 Buddha images, etc, Cambodian Cultural Village (which consists of 11 villages that feature the diverse cultural heritage of Cambodia), Angkor Thom (the royal city that dates from the 12th century), The Psar Chaa flea market, central market, etc.
The city of Phnom Penh is another place of interest in Cambodia.
