Malaysia offers a myriad of shopping options to its visitors. You can get everything ranging from designer brands of clothing to watches to jewellery, electronics and so much more. The best places to do modern shopping are Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi.

Kuala Lumpur Shopping:
Shopping in Kuala Lumpur is a brilliant experience. Bukit Bin tang Shopping is a very good shopping area. It has to offer so many options which suit every budget and need. You can find premium malls and special outlets here.

KLCC shopping is specifically at the foot of PETRONAS twin towers. It offers six floors of retail therapy all under one roof. It houses all the major brands making it a perfect destination for shopping.

Chinatown shopping is located at the stretch of Pedaling Street. It has three malls and a tourist market, also known as central market. Kuala Lumpur offers amazing cultural souvenirs and products. You can shop for local arts and crafts as well as modern goods.

Penang Shopping:
The island of Penang is full of shopping malls, night markets, and antique shops. Do not forget o bargain here. If the price does not suit you, look somewhere else.

Georgetown shopping provides with so many shopping opportunities from roadside shops to independent stores which create an interesting mix of choices and value for money.

Batu Ferringhi Shopping offers beaches and night markets. Also known as sidewalk bazaar is a very popular area for shopping.

There are 2 main shopping spots in Tanjung Bungah Shopping. One is a modern, sprawling mall and other is traditional market.

Langkawi Shopping:
Langkawi is a shopping hub for duty free goods. It offers both international and local products. Most of the shopping options are found in the town of Kuah. You will find many stores and huge malls which offer tax free goods.

Visitors are spoilt for choices when it comes to shopping in Kuah.
Pantai Cenang Shopping is a heaven for tourists as entire beach road is full of shops on both the sides. They sell souvenirs in the form of fashion accessories, handicrafts etc.

Padang Matsirat does not offer many duty free products. But here you can shop for handicrafts and Batik, which is a Malay inspired floral fabric.

The shopping mall located at the basement of Petronas Twin Towers is called Suria KLCC which is also a great and elegant one.
For Langkawi, one thing you need to know..Sunday is not the public holiday. The weekends are Friday and Saturdays.
So, no wonder if you can see the schools are open for learning in the island.
Though this will not make any problem to the visitors especially non-Malaysians, it’s nice about it.
