The James New York is a relatively new property, the design of which is locally inspired. The hotel boasts of an urban garden and a pool deck on the rooftop.  The two-storied glass wall in the Lobby gives a stunning view of the surrounding sculpture garden. Guest Rooms

The guest rooms in this hotel are all non-smoking and have a residential pattern to it. Corner Studio

The Corner Studio rooms large at 35sqm and has an abundance of light that comes naturally through the oversized windows. One – Bedroom Apartments

The non-smoking, one-bedroom apartments are very spacious and are well-equipped. There is an open living area which has the finest furniture and a 42-inch flat screen TV. The 16th floor of the hotel houses the most luxurious accommodation in this property – Penthouse Loft. The bleached Oak flooring of the room adds a touch of elegance to this accommodation. The Penthouse has a dining room, wet bar, master bedroom, a huge living room and a bathroom. There and are good views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridge from the comfort of the rooms. The Bathroom has a tub with wonderful views of the city. The Penthouse has been designed in a modern manner by the Dutch designer, Piet Boon.

The David Burke kitchen is a result of a partnership between Chef David Burke and The James Hotel. The main focus of the restaurant is on American food. The restaurant has been designed in an exemplary fashion with glass walls in the kitchen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily in this restaurant along with the weekend brunch. The in-room dining menu of this hotel is also a creation of the David Burke kitchen. Breakfast is served from 7 in the morning till 10:00 and the dinner starts from 5:00pm till 11:00pm. The signature dish of this dining place is the Fennel Hay Roast Chicken.

The James Rooftop Bar is known as Jimmy. It has a 360-degree view of the Manhattan skyline and provisions for both indoor and outdoor seating. The main features of the bar are the herringbone floors and brick glazed tile walls. The cocktails in the menu are prepared with syrups and bitters from in-house herbs. The bar opens at 5pm every evening and remains open till 1am. The bar can be used for any special events too but an advance reservation is mandatory.

The James New York offers a number of services for the comfort of the guests. These include 24-hour concierge, daily housekeeping twice a day, video conferencing facilities, laundry, shoeshine service and rooftop open pool.
