This lodge off the coast of Puerto Rico was established in 1970s as a groundbreaking laboratory. It is named after Jules Verne, the sci-fi writer who authored the Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea. It was opened to tourists since 1986. To enter the hotel, you have to go down 21 feet below the sea surface.

Utter Inn, Sweden
Utter Inn, situated on Lake Malaren in Vasteras is a great example of architectural wonder. A truly artistic one room structure, this Inn allows the tourists to spend night 3 meters below the surface of the lake water. The building looks like a Swedish Red House.

Hydropolis is certainly one of the most lavish hotels undersea. In fact, the construction of this undersea resort is still in progress and the estimated cost is a jaw dropping $550 million. The resort will cover 27 acres of area in the Persian Gulf, 66 feet under the surface.
It will be connected to the land station through 1700 feet long transparent train tunnel. Resembling the shape of a jellyfish, it will have 220 bubble shaped suits. The walls of the sleeping area and bathtubs will be made of clear glass for perfect view.
Poseidon Undersea Resort, Fiji
If you can’t wait for the construction of Hydropolis, visit the Poseidon Undersea Resort off Fiji. This five star luxury resort is built 40 feet under water.
Designed by a famous American submarine engineer, the resort will provide personal submarine to every guest. There will also be a 16 passenger luxury submarine for explorations and undersea trips. The see through acrylic walls of the suits will ensure that every guest can have an unobstructed view of the sea life.
Huvafen Fushi, Maldives
