One of the top favorite places for travelers is the Miami Beach.  A busy surf-blue beach, pastel shaded buildings, with its pastel shade buildings, nightclubs, restaurants, bars, trendy shops and most strikingly gay zones, this beach is located in the Miami-Dade Country of South Florida, in United States, lying on the barrier island between Biscayne Bay and Atlantic Ocean.

Though comprising of almost 23 different and a separate municipality, Miami Beach is collectively known as “Miami” as a whole. It is referred to as the pre-eminent beach resort of United States.

A tropical monsoon climate, a coastal climate is the predominant feature of the Miami. Researches show that among an average city population of 87,933.55%, 55% are Spanish speaking, 33% English, 3.4% Portuguese, 1.7% French, 1.1% German, 1% Italian and 0.85% Russian. It is believed to be the home of Jewish community that has spread Yiddish and Hebrew language also. Thus famous synagogues like Temple Emanu-El and Cuban Hebrew Congregation are also there.

Market by the predominance of gay communities and gay recreation, thus one can find numerous gay bars, gay and lesbian events like ‘The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival”. Topless sunbathing is also allowed in some of the destinations. Art Deco District and Haulover Beach is haven for nudists, that jazz up in passion as night falls.Crime is not notable high, though there was a time when corrupt police authority unnecessary harassed male and gay tourists.

Some of the important worth-viewing sites as you reach Miami are Miami Beach’s Bass Museum of Art, the Miami City Ballet; a world famous ballet company, Miami Beach Botanical Garden, Holocaust Memorial, Versace Mansion or Casa Casurina, Flageler Monument Island, Wolfsonian –FIU Museum. Besides there  are lots of events and occasions held at regular intervals like annual film festival  of “Florida Moving Image Archive”, “Home and Design Remodelling Show” showcasing importers, distributors and exporters of the world, “Miami Beach Festival of Arts”.
