Republic Benin is located on the coast of the Gulf of Guinea. It is bordered by Upper Volta, westerly Togo, northerly Niger and Nigeria towards the east, in the western continent of Africa. Highest elevation is Atakora massif at the height of 641m. Chief rivers are Niger, and Oueme. Climate is equatorial with high annual precipitation. South offers scorching humid heat while the north is semi-arid. The national game enjoyed by the whole country is Soccer.
