Visit to Maroma Beach, in Mexico

The Maroma beach, situated on the coasts of Yucatan peninsula in Mexico is often nominated as one of the top 10 beaches in the world. Pure white sands, crystal-clear waters, and warm tropical breezes promise a perfect paradise of a holiday destination at this beach and is a vast international tourist attraction.

Nestled in the Yucatan Peninsula coastline, this beach lies about 30 miles away to the South of Cancun –totally away from the hustle and bustle of that town city- a different world altogether.

The beach is a serene٫ quite paradise, blissfully peaceful with its spectacular landscape, the vast expanse of uninterrupted pristine sandy beaches with lush green tropical foliage stretching for more than 500 acres- and presenting spectacular ocean views.

The climate in this region is tropical with strong cold sea breezes on cloudy days and bright, luxurious sunshine on a warm day. The beach is about half an hours drive from Maroma and the nearest major International airport Airpo is Cancun. Cancun Internationalrt lies at a distance of about 20 miles from Maroma.

The beaches of this tropical paradise are dotted with huts resting places with thatched roofs and super luxurious resorts and villas.  The most popular and famous of them all is the Maroma Resort and Spa, set on the fringes of 300 acres of jungle and fronted by the exotic sea beach.

An interesting point is that every building on this property is handmade without the assistance of any heavy machinery or electricity – and most interestingly only one tenth of Maroma’s properties will be preserved- to maintain ecological balance.

Apart from basking into the glory of the warm tropical sun and enjoying the scintillating beauty of tropical nature and stunning ocean views, there are several other attractions too for the tourists to engage in. This beach draws adventure sports lovers from all corners of the world and presents excellent opportunities of scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea diving, surfing rafting, etc.

The Cozumel reef-located off the Maroma beach is world’s second largest barrier reef and is the most famous deep sea diving spots and you can also swim with the dolphins in the crystal clear blue green water.
